We did animal drawing for 6 weeks? D: Michelle took me to the SF Zoo every Saturday. I guess its kinda fun to draw with other people. But those darn kangaroos mostly just sit around out of sight! Also SF is freezing!!!

Basically painting over a random photo for the colors and making up random architecture structure you see in all those concept art. I used the top of the submarine for shape idea.

Stubborn pinky

See anything wrong with this fist?

My pinky cannot go down with the rest T__T;; Its also a hassle to draw with. I only learned how not all hands are like this after looking at my co-workers' hands. (we did hand examination during lunch :P) All this time I've been using my own hand for drawing reference. After watching Star Trek, I can't even make a freakin Vulcan sign T__T;;; This pinky refuse to touch the other fingers when they are straight. Too much strain to even get it to touch XD;;

WIP Paint relief

When I'm stressed, at times I'll go back and paint some unfinished cg from weeks back. Grayscale are fun b/c I don't have to worry about color! XD

Star Wars V comp study

I was watching Star Wars with my sisters a couple month ago and decided to draw some of the scenes that I liked while it was playing without pausing it. Star Wars V has some really nice compositions I would like to do some extended studies. But I just scanned this because I liked how I drew Yoda haha. Totally not my style.

I usually get some itching to draw when I see some nice shots of character emotions and awesome compositions. But this was my first time actually doing that.

Figure Drawing 2/12/09

Here some figure drawings from about a week ago. I actually like the results of that sesson. The model has a really nice shape with lots of curves around her torso to her feet. Very fun to draw.

The Big Red

These were finished during Spring 2007 in Maya 51. I had a lot of sleepless nights during that semester. Since then, I have been fearful of 3D and Maya.

CNY 2009 WIP

WIP of my annual Chinese New Year illustration! Agh, I haven't cged in so long! My mom critiqued me on the type of nose an ox actually had so I had to do more research on the ox nose for her to approve XD

CNY eve starting Sunday!!! Have to clean up the house as well as work on my homework T_T
